How Does Geothermal Cooling Work

Geothermal process makes use of earth's heat which is an everlasting resource for heating purposes. This heat can be used for heating water etc. Geothermal cooling uses the refrigeration technique for cooling purposes. This heat beneath the surface of the earth is because of the high temperatures of the earth's mantle. The cooling process starts as the compressor delivers refrigerant to the water to refrigerant heat exchanger now the heat is transferred to the source of lower temperature such as well water which makes the refrigerant loose temperature and become colder. Now the refrigerant is made to pass through the refrigerant to air heat exchanger. Unlike conventional air conditioning system Geo thermal air conditioning system require normal water to do the cooling work. This water is heated and cooled by the system (earth).
Geo thermal air conditioning system requires less maintenance cost and also very low running cost as compared to Conventional cooling system. This architecture requires very small ducting system which is approximately 70% smaller than conventional cooling system as a result setup cost reduces, wastage of cool air that use to cool ducting system is also reduced to great extent. This makes it very clear that Geo thermal systems are far better than conventional air conditioning systems. The initial cost is similar to the heating system which in this case also is high when compared to the traditional cooling systems such as air conditioners which use electricity and the methods involving burning the fossil fuels.

The geothermal system is of two types one is the open loop cooling system and the other being the closed loop cooling system. The major cost of the system results from the equipment and the drilling costs for installing the pipes and for locating water. The system canals are shared commercially in case of several people sharing a building. As the geothermal system involves a lot of hardware as compared to the traditional system the costing obviously goes up. A typical geothermal system involves the following components heat pump, the circulating pump, indoor piping, and water source heat, piping beneath the earth surface and refrigerants used add up the cost. If a user decides to buy an air conditioning system then it has mainly two type of air conditioning system available. First, the conventional air conditioning system, Second, Geo thermal air conditioning system. If we talk about conventional air conditioning system then it is dependent on temperature outside that cooling area. This way in conventional air conditioning systems power requirement keeps on varying and thus their efficiency. This type of systems are ought to become obsolete with the advent of new type of system known as Geo Thermal air conditioning systems. For that we need to know what Geo thermal air conditioning systems are.

Geo thermal air conditioning systems are new type of air conditioning systems available which have a very less running cost as compared to conventional air conditioning system. They are the most efficient air conditioning system.

What Is Geothermal Energy

By James Bratley
Geothermal energy is a Greek term used to described the heating of the earth. There are two main sources of this heating of the earth. The correct source for geothermal energy is the earths core, where temperatures are estimated to be between 3000 and 5000 degrees Celsius. The source for the variant of geothermal energy is the sun, where the suns rays heat the first few meters of the land, and then this energy is lost at night.

Space For Air Conditioning Window Units Should Be Planned Ahead

By David Patullo
The most common types of air conditioners are air conditioning window units. Everyone is familiar with these appliances from the way they protrude out of the walls of a house and often have plastic tubes where water from the air conditioner is exuded. Air conditioning window units come in many sizes and cooling capacities. The newer models are manufactured to run quietly.
