Geothermal Cooling Equipment

Description of a Geothermal System
The geothermal system is also called the ground source heat pump. Geo means earth and thermal refers to heat. The geothermal system is a very good option to replace both of these traditional methods of heating. The geo thermal system takes advantage of the earth's ability to store heat energy in the soil and near the surface rocks. The first method that is fuel powered direct heating systems involve burning of fossil fuels such as gas or oil to run the heating system which immediately throws questions on how feasible it is with respect to pollution norms. The second option that is electricity controlled heating systems raises questions on the rising electricity costs.

The geothermal heating system basically taps this heat energy below the surface of earth and uses it to heat homes, buildings etc. Ground source units are used to pull the heat from the earth and deliver it to homes/buildings. These heat pumps not only provide heating these can also be used for cooling purposes. The cooling requires a reverse process wherein heat is derived from the building and then delivered to the earth. The heating system typically involves closed loop systems wherein water in the closed loops is made to run through the ground near the building which absorbs the heat energy under the earth. This water is pumped back into the building via the closed loop system and thus heating the building. This system may also be used to produce electricity.

What Is Geothermal Cooling Equipment?

Geothermal cooling equipment is the equipment that is provides ventilation and cooling to the pumps and the other components of the geothermal system. There are radiators in cars that are used to keep the engine cool similarly there are cooling equipments that are required in the geothermal system to keep the equipments of the system cool. The high power pumps that are required in the geothermal systems can burn up the pumps. To keep these pumps working and to prevent the system from over heating the geothermal cooling equipments are required.

Thus the geothermal cooling equipment is: - The equipments that keep the geo thermal systems cool and maintain the temperature of the system. - The equipment that provide proper air circulation so that air is properly regulated in the geo thermal system. The ventilation removes the hot air and replaces it by the cool air. - These are the equipments that regulate the temperature of the over all system by using the air conditioning techniques and the ventilation techniques.

The different types of geothermal cooling equipments

There are a number of techniques that are employed to keep the geothermal system's temperature under control. These techniques include the ventilation technique and the air conditioning techniques to keep the system cool. One type of the geothermal cooling equipments is the exhausts or the ventilators that provide airflow to the system. The second type of the geothermal equipments is the air conditioners that are required to regulate the temperature by compressing the hot air.

What Is Geothermal Energy

By James Bratley
Geothermal energy is a Greek term used to described the heating of the earth. There are two main sources of this heating of the earth. The correct source for geothermal energy is the earths core, where temperatures are estimated to be between 3000 and 5000 degrees Celsius. The source for the variant of geothermal energy is the sun, where the suns rays heat the first few meters of the land, and then this energy is lost at night.

Space For Air Conditioning Window Units Should Be Planned Ahead

By David Patullo
The most common types of air conditioners are air conditioning window units. Everyone is familiar with these appliances from the way they protrude out of the walls of a house and often have plastic tubes where water from the air conditioner is exuded. Air conditioning window units come in many sizes and cooling capacities. The newer models are manufactured to run quietly.
